I Reveal Myself Like Windows Phone 7

I know, fans. I know. I've been missing for a whole week. And to be honest, I can't really think of an excuse. So let's cut to the point.

Fresh look. Zune integration. Xbox Live integration. Social networking. Eye candy. The much anticipated update to Window Mobile has arrived. Labelled the Windows Phone 7, it's mission is to redefine mobile phones and show the competitors the real way to do things.

Chances are you've used a Windows Mobile powered phone before, or at least come across one. If not, it's probable you are phone operating system racist. Just kidding.

If all goes well, the wait for Windows Phone 7 shouldn't be too long. So try not to get giddy.

They say that pictures can be worth a thousand words. How many words can a video be worth? Find out here.

Nexus One, The Movie Star

The Nexus One, the Google phone running Android. Sometimes hailed as the best Android phone. Google plans to make you better acquainted with the phone, launching a series of videos giving in-depth information about the making of this phone.

I knew about the first few videos of the series and I wasn't too interested, but their "Testing" video here got me intrigued. I am not sure if this is actually what goes on, but it seems like Google and HTC really wanted to make this a high quality phone not just software-wise, but hardware as well. Throughout the video you can see Nexus Ones' being mistreated.

Google, give one to me and I'll test it for you. Seriously.

I Like Zune HD Rumors

As an owner and fan of Zune, it's always fun to see rumors about them. Zuneboards posted some rumors that are certainly interesting.

Zune HD v2

- tegra 2
- more storage
- more colors

Zune Spring Update

- more integration with Xbox Live
- Zune Video Pass
- Facebook
- Xvid support

There are an endless whirl of rumors concerning Windows Mobile 7. Engadget summarized up some strong rumors.

- Zune-like interface (I love that interface)
- revamped start screen: "very clean"/"soulful"/"alive"
- no multitask (blasphemy)
- no flash support out of the box
- full integration with Zune, Xbox Live
- social networking (that's right you Facebook/Twitter freaks)

In With The New

As cell phones get more advanced, we are moving away into a new world, a new era of smartphones. The arrival of Android, promised Windows Mobile 7, iPhone OS, webOS, Maemo, Symbian, and other operating systems are bringing improvement after improvement. I feel the need for a new phone!

It's been a great few weeks for phones. I'll make a little list...

- Sense interface comes to HTC Magic! Clicky
- Firefox, the popular web browser comes to Maemo! Clicky
- Nokia n97 gets improved calling, improved scrolling, and more! Clicky
- Nexus One with multitouch, Google Goggles, more? Clicky
- iPhone/iPod Touch 3.1.3 out! Clicky

Have fun, and always feel free to donate a phone or two to me. It's no problem.  :)

For free, why not?

Nokia's navigation system for their phones, Ovi Maps has been updated and is available for free. Free stuff is always cool, like the racing game they've created. Any map, choose a car, let's go riding.

Link provided here.

They are over 1.4 million downloads already since the update. This apparently translates into "a download per second, 24 hours a day."

It's been...

 ...a boring day at school.

Let's talk Lockerz. To be short and sweet (although in life I'm moderately tall and sweet), it's a site where you collect up points by logging in and answering daily questions. Eventually, you'll have enough points to redeem for some prizes, and this is all for real. However, you can only join if invited by a member.

My homies have solved that problem for those of you interested. They've got a new site up here and will invite you so you can get started on your point gathering.

My favourite part about Lockerz is the question answering. Allow your imagination to run wild.

I Levelled Up...

...in Stick Arena to Rank 7! One of my favorite online games, I played it when it was the original, and I'm playing it again in its newer version, "Ballistick". You should check it out here.

Renovation

Renovation is coming along nicely, but I feel the need for fresh ideas. I'll be looking.

Renovation Stuff Done:

- added Twitter button
- reset Sitemeter counter
- resisting the urge to add ads so the site stays clean, both in appearance and in content
- refreshed some colors
- refreshed list of blogs/sites to check out
- a bit of advertising on Twitter

Once again, these are all little things, but I'm still working on it.

Primetime

Primed for a comeback.
